Dues this year are $80. This covers our insurance, dues to Nationals, all awards earned by scouts, pinewood derby cars, campout fees, blue and gold dinner, and various other craft projects during the year.
You may add a subscription to "Boy's Life" magazine, a fantastic periodical for your scout to read and enjoy. It's only $12 for a full year's subscription, and we highly recommend it.
A $5 donation to Friends of Scouting is also optional, but encouraged. FoS helps BSA run camps and facilities all over the country, fund training courses for leaders, and provides funds for national programs and events. Did you know the annual cost for BSA per scout is over $200, and they only ask for $15 from the scout's family? That remaining balance is funded by Friends of Scouting. (NOTE: the $15 is included in your pack dues)
If you choose to recieve "Boy's Life" and include a $5 donation to FoS, your total, including pack dues, is $97.
